
Welcome !The San Antonio Choral Society was founded in 1965 by Gwilym H. Isaac. It is an organization in which auditioned singers drawn from the community can participate in providing quality presentations of a variety of choral works to San Antonio and South Texas audiences. Now in its 46th Concert Season, the San Antonio Choral Society is recognized as a musical organization of outstanding quality and is noted for its variety of musical presentations. Our Mission The premiere of “Seven Last Words” was presented to an audience of just over 300 at the UTSA Recital Hall on May 16, capping SACS 45th Anniversary celebration. Artistic Director Aaron Hufty led the chorus, orchestra and guest soloists in a moving first performance of the cantata by Jerome Malek, a San Antonio composer and choral director. |
