“Seven Last Words”

A concert presenting the world premiere performance of San Antonio composer Jerome Malek’s “Seven Last Words,” with orchestra and guest soloists.
Mr. Malek is Music Director at Laurel Heights United Methodist Church, San Antonio and directs the Tuesday Musical Club chorus. This will be the first public performance of a major work with orchestra written by Mr. Malek. There is a pre-concert talk at 4:15 pm, and a reception immediately following the concert.
Now completing its 45th Anniversary Concert Season, the San Antonio Choral Society, led by Artistic Director Aaron Hufty, is an 80-member mixed voice choir of volunteer singers. Mr. Hufty is assisted by Mr. David Dyer. Dr. N. Seth Nelson is accompanist.
Tickets cost $15 - general admission; and $12
Senior, TPR Members, A.D. and active duty Military.
